104: Socks and Hats

Knitting Time:
Fish Lips Kiss Heel Socks by Sock Therapist is Finished!  Using US size 2 -0mm needles. Yarn is Opal Smokey Eyes and Coloured Lips in color 6641. Love this yarn!

Love all the little toes on the needles.

September Socks: will be for Randi, Tristan's teacher.  With Opal Love Story in color 7910 Romantik. Using US size 0 - 2.0mm needles.  Following my favorite toe up sock, heel construction.  That's Wendy Johnson's Slip Stitch Heel Basic Sock.  I do a 2x2 rib on top of that.  I've litterarly knit hundreds of socks this way!

What to do for Roland's teachers?

Kim's Socks: Tristan's other teacher. With Berroco Sox in 1410 County Fair colorway.  Using US size 0 - 2.0mm needles.  Wendy Johnson's Slip Stitch Heel Basic Sock. I do a 2x2 rib on top of that.

Potty Socks: Planning to do a Fish Lips Kiss Heel Socks by Sock Therapist. With Red Heart Heart and Sole in 3972 BlackJack colorway. Using standard US size 0s - 2.0mm needles. 

Jingle Feet take two!  Two sets of little cuffs.  Used Into The Whirled Ulundi Sock in Courtly Frogs colorway and J.Knits Superwash Me Sock in Connecticut colorway.  2x2 rib over 32 sts for 10 rows.  Used 30 yards per set.  Prestrung the bells.  Not again.Denver Cowl by Veronica Parsons with Miss Babs Yowza - Whatta Skein in the Berlin colorway using US size 8s - 5.0mm needles. 100 grams to go!

Garter Ear Flap Hats, by Purl Soho maybe I went crazy with them!

First was in Berroco Vintage color 5197 Teal Heather with a 5196 Gold accent.  Was for Tristan, knit 3rd size up.  Too Big, for Ro.  Used 130 yards.
US size 7s - 4.5mm needles and US size 8s - 5.0mm needles.

Next was in Berroco Vintage color 5187 Denim with a Pumpkin accent. Knit the second size which he currently has a wears.  Forgot to switch needle size though, staying with it.  US size 8s - 5.0mm needles.

And then after finishing the jingle cuffs and loving the Courtly Frogs, I wanted to finish it off fully.  Cast on a third with Used Into The Whirled Ulundi Sock in Courtly Frogs colorway and accent of Berroco Vintage color Navy accent. And remembered to change needle size!  US size 7s - 4.5mm needles and US size 8s - 5.0mm needles..
