Episode 131: What's your motivation

Not feeling motivated to knit.

Thanksgiving SweaterAngora Cowl that makes me sneeze, I'm looking at you guys.

Knitting Time:


Twenty Ten Cardigan: by Veera Valimaki using Valley Yarns Northampton Bulky in the Fawn Colorway. US size 8s - 5.0mm needles. Finished First sleeve racing to finish collar and second sleeve.

Blue that Sings socks, my monthly self striping vanilla sock. My basic toe up sock receipe: US size 0 - 2.0mm needles. Toe up with a 2x2 rib. Fish Lips Kiss Heel on top of that. Yarn is Scrumptiouspurl Stripe Me Up in the Berrylicious Colorway. 80/20 merino nlon -love it!  First one done.  Leg on the second.

Neon! On-Line Supersock 4-Fach Neon Color Two in color 01728. My basic toe up sock receipe: US size 0 - 2.0mm needles. Wendy Johnson's Slip Stitch Heel Basic Sock. A 2x2 rib on top of that.

Tristan's BRQ! By Shelley Mackie & Larissa Brown Using US size 2s - 2.75mm needles. Using Opal RainforestFibernymph Bounce, and Leading Men Fiber Arts Show Stopper in Dipping Sauce is the final piece.
20 completed squares for T's Blanket. Will need 30.


These are Neon socks for Dad.  Using US size 0 - 2.25mm needles. Wendy Johnson's Slip Stitch Heel Basic Sock. Paired with a 2x2 rib and Online Supersock 4-Fach Neon Color in color 1754. 

Second Easy by Martina Behm using new needles 24" cable. Using US size 3 - 3.25mm needles. Using Coulrophobia Carnivale in the Self-Striping Spring Jeans colorway.



Baby Surprise Jacket by Elizabeth Zimmerman for Fibernymph's ABCKAL. White Birch Fiber Arts 80/20 Merino Nylon Self-Striping in the Tan, Rested, and Ready colorway. Mixed in some Fibernymph Dye Works Bounce in the Summer Squash colorway. US size 4s, 3.5mm needles.

Total so far 2,605 yards from last week, plus 953 makes 3,558 yards finished! 65% finished

1,910 yards to go, for 382 a week.  Definitely a challenge.
