Knitting Time:

Alia Grace Shawl KAL! now through January 15th.
Prizes:

Skein of Leading Men Fiber Arts Spotlight in No Good Deed

January Short Sleeve Sweater KAL now through February 28th.
Miranda by Josee Paquin.  I'm using Cascade 220 Heathers in Lake Chelan got gauge with suggested needles US size 8s - 5.0mm and US size 6s - 4mm. Knitting size that gives 3" of positive ease.  Lively discussions on the board about armholes.  Reviewed Amy Hertzog's Knit to Flatter Class on Bust Darts since I have 5" difference, would be 2" of negative ease here if I did nothing.  The plan is to add in 4sts at each underarm when sleeves are separated and do some increases on either side of the cable panel.  Tag projects with #Miranda2015KAL

Parents are off with Harvey Socks! Paton's Kroy Sock Stripes in 55015 Bramble stripes US size 0 - 2.25mm needles. Wendy Johnson's Slip Stitch Heel Basic Sock. A 2x2 rib on top of that. 2 Heels finished, onto the legs.

Fulvous Curl! by Hunter Hammersen with String Theory Merino DK in Caledonia color that I bought at Stitches East this past year.Using US size 6s - 4.0mm needles.  Lots of twisted stitches, slow going, but enjoying it in hour long chunks, at least I was before casting on the sweater.

Worsted Weight Socks for Father-In-Law using Rye Pattern by TinCan Knits and Berroco Vintage in Olive.  US size 4s - 3.5mm needles.  Worried about no nylon wool yarns, thinking acrylic will help with wear.  Not enough yarn so shorter cuff. May knit my farther a pair as well.

Felted Kid Mitts by TechKnitter.  Pattern is $3.25 on Rav.  Changed from the beginning.  Omitted the cuff will knit that after felting.  Smallest size and Medium size as well.  Using US size 7s - 4.5mm needles and Malabrigo Worsted in 59-Lime Blue color.
